"THE WORTH OF A LIFE ..."

"... is not determined by a single failure or a solitary success ..."
Then, what is the worth of a life? Can, or, should, one be accorded a place in the "record book" or be forever "condemned" or relegated to the scrap heap of failure, never to be given a second chance?
     Your thoughts, please ...

Personally, I believe in second chances and I am sure that if someone "messes up" then we should offer them a second chance. A lot of people in this world today believe in second chances. If failure comes around to knock you down, you get up back and you have whole set of options to choose to go about your second chance. Everyone deserves a second chance in their lives to ameliorate what they failed at. Never give up.

A person's life should be judged by both the good and bad events in one's life. A person's legacy should be reflected on through the positives, mainly, as well as the negatives. On another point, those who are never given a second chance deserve one. I honestly believe that any person WITH GOOD INTENTION deserves a shot at redemption. What they do with their lives afterwards all depends on them, but another shot at neutralizing the failure is deserved.

Most people are not remembered for their single success or solitary failure. They are remembered for their triumphant attitude and their outlook on life. Everyone deserves second chances so it's not fair to judge someone on one event that happened in their lives.

We all know that no one is perfect in this life, which means people will make mistakes. Second chances should only be given to those who deserve it though. Only those people who truly have the intentions of fixing things deserve this chance. Not everyone will make the most of this second chance, and they may mess it up once again, but another chance should not be given. This is for their own good, because they cannot get used to having opportunities come easy to them or they will have a hard awakening in the future. On the other hand, if someone does want to make the most of their second chance then they will absolutely make it happen and prove themselves worthy of it. Second chances should be given to everyone, but do not let them abuse the opportunity that they have been given.

No one is perfect and you should be able to have second chances. People are made to learn from experiences. So they way they learn is from their second chances.

The worth of a life should not be determined by one mistake or one slip of the tongue. If the same mistake occurs various times, then you can determine who they are by those continuous mistakes. Many people take second chances for granted. "Oh, I will do better next time." What happens when there is no next time. I believe everyone should get a second chance, but just because I believe they should doesn't mean they will get one. People need to try and succeed the first time and put all their effort into it. If they do that then they won't ever need a second chance. Life is short, so why keep trying to fix something that you should have gotten the first time around. By getting second chances you are missing other first chances to do something else. I don't judge someone by the amount of mistakes they make, but by the amount of second chances they get to fix their mistakes.

The worth of a life is not determined by a single failure or a solitary success. God gives us second chances in our lives everyday. Whenever we make a mistake we are forgiven, and given another chance to excel in what we intend to do. All people from all walks of life deserve second chances. We learn from our mistakes and if we weren't given a second there would be few successes in this world. A success is an accomplishment of an aim or purpose, and those who are successful receive multiply tries leading up to their accomplishments. Every one gets second chances, and when we receive the second chance it is a time where God gives us the ability to capitalize on another attempt to work towards success.

A single failure does not mean that a person has failed at life. If this was true, there isn't one person that would be a "success". Failures or mistakes, happen to everyone because no one is perfect. However, letting these failures prevent you from achieving success is something that should be avoided. Everyone has and deserves a second chance to make up for one mistake or failure. I believe this second chance should not be taken for granted but be taken graciously because we are very fortunate to wake up everyday, forget about our past mistakes, and try to achieve our goals and successes.
