"COMMON SENSE"

"Society is produced by our wants ... government by our wickedness; the former promotes our happiness positively by uniting our affections, the latter negatively by restraining our vices."
"Society in every state is a blessing, but government even in its best state is but a necessary evil;in its worst state an intolerable one..."
"The cause of America is, in a great measure, the cause of all mankind (Thomas Paine; Philadelphia, Feb. 14, 1776..."Common Sense").

Common sense? You betcha! If only we heeded the words of one of the primary promoters/instigators for freedom in the Revolutionary War/Independence from Great Britain, Thomas Paine.

Yeah, Common Sense tells you everything. All it requires is a little thought. Common Sense tells you what's your left and what's your right. Logic and common sense help you every day in your life. Reasonable thinking should as simple as breathing.

I wish I had some common sense. Common sense would help me a lot in my life. Sometimes I fell like I have no common sense because of all the dumb things I do or say sometimes. Common sense can help everyone. Look at Pinocchio, he had Jiminy Cricket. I wish I had some common sense that would make my life so much easier.

Yea I agree with Deek and John. I wish i had common sense sometimes. i don't get how it only takes a little bit of thought to have some common sense yet some people don't have it. i feel at times i have more common sense in a bad situation. Common sense is sometimes a life saver

Common sense is the outline of everyone's life. As soon as you stop thinking and stop using it, you will get into trouble. An easy way to access it is through prayer. By praying you are able to stop and think clearly.

This was a very important piece of work in history. It gave Americans the knowledge and passion to fight for freedom. We need common sense in our lives especially when dealing with government. Thomas Paine was a true patriot in history we should take these words to heart.
