'BE VICTORIOUS..."

"...in war, BEFORE you go into battle!"

Make sense? But, "I'm not fighting a war," one would offer. Of course not...but, each day, as you enter the "battle" in each of your classes, you must be victorious! Without that mindset, you'd lose a lot of games, if you were playing a sport. So, why not think that way as a student? No matter what the "battle" [a difficult lesson, a test, impossible homework, etc.], think "victory" before entering that fray!

Never cry "Defeat"!

This blog was very interesting and inspiring. I never thought of school as a win and lose battle. We should never give up in our class. We should have the mindset victory and that I will do well in this class. Even if you bomb a test make a promise to yourself to do well on the next one. This also applies to life in the fact that you can never give up.This blog is good advice and we should follow it.

I agree with this. School is just like competative sports and games. You need to win and do the best you can so that you can have a successful life. None of these, "battles," will ever come easy. Just like a sport for example basketball, you have to practice and practice until your perfect if you want to be the best. Same thing applies to school, you have to study hard and do ALL of your homework so that you can set yourself up for a bright future.

I never thought of school as a war zone, i always thought of it as just boring work. The blog i think will inspire those who had the same mindset i had too. One thing i believe is important, and that goes along with this idea. Every army has allies that they call to help them fight the enemy.

Think victorious, be victorious. It makes sense. The battle is to achieve a high GPA in the classroom and to win every game in the season, for whatever sport. Just never give up! "Eye of the tiger" the thrill of the fight! Rock on man!

I don't know what to make of this post. My idea of war is WWII and WW I, the civil war, the revolutionary war, halo wars, video games based on war, and sports, but never school. I don't really see it though I know the idea is to win the war in class, but I feel as if the classroom is more of a struggle to survive and achieve greatness and not so much a war.

I agree Mr. Flynn. Always be positive. Always think the best even in a bad situation. If you don't have confidence in what you do, the way you think (not positive) with show in the effort and actions you do. Always have confidence. Just having that can make you better.
