"PANDEMIC" - Growth of the Federal Gov't!"

Ha! Thought I'd discourse about the "swine flu" pandemic?  Wrong!  There's a more frightening "disease" spreading in this country - the unprecedented growth of the Big Government!  Is that all right with you, though?  Maybe you wish for more government control of your life, and, it is control!  Already, we work for the Federal Government - don't believe me?  Do your research!   hey, as long as you don't mind throwing shovelsful of your income into a govenment black hole and allowing others to make decisions about how to spend your income - then go for it!  Or, more rules and regulations!  Cool [Im' being facetious, of course...]!  The pandemic is sweeping the nation, "infecting" millions, with no known cure, as long as the Democratic party hoards the "antidote" and refuses to dispense it to those crying in the wilderness for a "cure"!

Do you really to be a shareholder in a car company, with your tax dollar$ paying the unions' healthcare co$t$ and salarie$?  If the Feds have anything to do with that decison - you will!  and on and on...

Crying in the wilderness for a "cure" will not change anything. Moaning, crying, and complaining that the "sky is falling" will have little affect. Obama's party won because they campaigned hard, strong and "early" to groups that usually did not make it to the voting polls. A few questions ago, we were asked for a few practical solutions. I did not have any. It's time to take action for 2012 by starting TODAY to campaign for your own beliefs. Where would I start? What changes could one person make?

First, I took the time to research important issues to me.... preserving Capitalism, the Constitution, Economy and FREEDOM. I found causes that I personally could support and spread the word to everyone.... Friends, parents, neighbors.... now you.

I sent petitions out
1. AGAINST the Dream Act (in-state tuition for illegal immigrants www.petitiononline.com/nitemare/petition.html )
2. AGAINST the UN Convention on the Rights of Children (a treaty of 54 articles with a hidden agenda that strips parents of their right to raise their own children - the state will basically raise your child www.parentalrights.org )
3. Sent out literature on Conservatives for Patients Rights (offers solutions to health care instead of socialized medicine www.cprights.org/info ),
4. Sent out literature on abortion as more than just a moral issue.... "What Do 40 Million Lost Lives Mean?" (outlines just how the economy has been directly effected by abortion over that last 25 years www.nrlc.org/news/2001/NRL01/laura.html ).

It's time to stand up and be heard or we have no one to blame but our selves. There are people standing up for their beliefs every day. Here are a couple:
Andrew C McCarthy turned down a seat on President’s Task Force on Detention Policy freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2242289/posts?page=1 (to read letter - nrinstitute.org/mustread.php).

Carrie Prejean persecuted for her opinion on Traditional Marriage.

MY NEW CAUSE: NJ STATE SOVEREIGNTY. Washington, New Hampshire, Arizona, Montana, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma, California, and Georgia have all introduced bills and resolutions declaring sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment. Colorado, Hawaii, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Alaska, Kansas, Alabama, Nevada, Maine, and Illinois are considering such measures.

The Tenth Amendment is part of the Bill of Rights and was ratified on December 15, 1791. It states the Constitutions principle of Federalism by providing that powers not granted to the national government nor prohibited to the states are reserved to the states and to the people.

It is based on an earlier provision of the Articles of Confederation: Each state retains its sovereignty, freedom, and independence, and every power, jurisdiction, and right, which is not by this Confederation expressly delegated to the United States, in Congress assembled. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dP8YnOADO3E

Since most of the readers can't vote yet... what can YOU do????
1. Stay informed. Research from many sources and learn something new each day.
2. Talk to your parents. Share your ideas and concerns about YOUR future. Encourage them to vote on local levels where the fight begins.
3. Talk to your fellow students. Share ideas and info. If you know people who voted for Obama simply because he's from a minority, inform them that there are Black and Hispanic Republicans. Check out Allen Keyes, an highly respected Black Republican http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqkMfToY9Pk
4. Follow up, follow up, follow up with those petitions and causes.
5. Set some time over the summer to volunteer for the party of your choice. Not only will it help your party, it will look good on your college resume and count as CCA credit (I think).
6. Be passionate about your cause.
7. Register to vote as soon as you can.

Sorry... this was soooo long. I hope you see how passionate I am toward a real change to American values. Thank you for your time.

After reading such a "passionate" proposal, how can anyone not be motivated? Bravo! Yes, real solutions for action. "Action" is the operative word! We must once again become "owners" of our destinies and not let others do our bidding...my students - you might be eligible to vote in the next election...the power is in your hands to make a difference!

Ooops! I forgot to mention how much I admire Pope Benedict for not caving into social pressure. He turned down Caroline Kennedy as Ambassador to the Vatican and private visitations with catholic pro abortionist. Obama nominated at least 4 candidates to the Pope that are pro choice. Did he expect the Pope to accept these candidates ? Or did he want to make the Church look like an outdated, moral institution? Either way, he's insulting?

Lately, having moral values makes you Un-American or somehow wierd.
