this film has shown me that in anything you do you have to try your hardest. Also it told me to not stay the same and to change for the better. "stupid is forever" this quote means that everything about u can change but if you thing stupidly you cant

I think this movie proves how some kids have extreme pressure to succeed. With the pressure from his parents to succeed it pushes him to cheat so he doesn't let down his father.

The Emperors Club has showed me that if you study and do your best in school, skys the limit. Messing around in school may seem fun, but its important to get out of that phase and change for the better.

I think that this movie was very good and it showed how kids are under a great deal of pressure to do good from their parents. This movie also shows how the one kid can influence a whole class to be like hid.

This was a really interesting movie it shows a man who has given everything to his school and his students. Even with all of is accomplishments he is not appreciated and is not given the job he wanted. i feel it was unfair what happened to Mr. Hunterd but in the end things work out when Bell comes back with is donation.

I enjoyed this movie and it showed me through Sedricks character, that even student that doesn't want to be there or is doing bad can do really well in school just by doing some simple studying and put your mind to it. however the teacher's decision on bumping up Sedrick's grade so he can cheat to try to become Mr. Julius Ceasar.

I like this movie. It is good to know that if you try at something you can succeed but sooner or later, you will get cought cheating sooner or later. That is the lesson of this movie.

the emperour's club portrays the idea that lying, cheating, and stealing wont get you in anywhere in life but if you work hard and study you can accomplish anything. -Mike Griess

The Emperor's Club was a great movie. It talked about great virtue and high moral understanding. It really showed how some people take advantage of the system and how there are few left like Mr. Hunterd that abide by these virtues. Overall great film which teaches important life lessons.

I like this movie a lot it reminds me that if i try hard i can do anything. But i have to stay focused on my goal and not get distracted by the temptations of the world as Bell does in the movie.

I personally found it funny when Sedgewick takes the boys across the lake to meet the girls on the other side. This movie also shows a lot about virtue and morals which i found intriguing.

I like the movie so far because it shows funny part at times and then parts where it really leaves you guessing to see what happens next. A great part of the movie was when they were playing baseball

The thing that i took out of this movie is that some people change and mature as they get older while others mature they don't change. Like Mr. Bell had matured but did not change from cheating.

what i learned from the movie is to not play round in school and do your work because if you do your work you can be very successful. eventhough people try to be cool its better to do your work so that you can get a really good jobwhen you get older to support your family

i enjoyed the movie. It showed that if you cheat you have to face yourself later. If you dont cheat and succeed you can look at yourself in the mirror and say i did it right.

I enjoyed the movie. It taught me that with the pressures of parents some kids will cheat in order to make their parents happy. However doing it the harder way it leads to a better future.

The man named on the plaque was a good man but had no influence in the history book, therefore he went on to be forgotten by history. This is similar to Sedgewick Bell because even though he had it all, it makes him a great man of the time, but there is a chance that he, like Nahuatl, will be forever forgotten.

I like this movie. this movie reminds me the habit of cheating or lying is going forever. But if you succeed without cheating and lying, you can say you are success correctly.

I like this movie very much. This has shown me that there is a very big connection with the teacher and the student. In this movie, Mr. Hunterd wanted to make a big connection with Sedgewick Bell but he had not taken the opportunityto study and had failed Mr. Hunterd, not once, but twice. Overall I really like this movie.

I really enjoyed this movie. The Emperor's Club really shows that people have to be trusty worthy and honest. We all need to have morals and try to achieve our goals without cheating. This film shows me that you have to try your best when it comes to school. A teacher can be your friend or your enemy. Sedgwick was becoming a favorite student in Mr. Hundert's class. But when he cheated, Mr. Hundert felt guilty that he failed to teach Sedgwick morals.

I really enjoyed this movie. I learned that what it says in the bible you reap what you sow. So in Sedgewick's case he cheated, and soon enough he will be cheated. He didn't learn his lesson and cheated again. I think in order to learn not to cheat or anything there must be repercussions. There wasn't any in his case which lead to more cheating

Michael said...

The movie "The Emperor's Club" showed me that cheating will get you no where and paying attention and doing well in school is very important. Sedgewick did not learn his lesson after cheating the first time because twenty-five years later he cheated again. Who knows how he did so well in life he may have cheated in that too. Cheating is bad and doing well in school is very important overall.

I loved the movie The emperor's Club because it reminded like all of us entering Bergen Catholic. We were all scared coming into this school and had no idea how the teachers were and how the kids were. When all of the kids first got there they were a smart and outstanding class until Sedgwick comes to pull pranks. We all felt like this going into bergen because we didn't know how to act with everyone around us.

It is not the difference that you make by how successful you are it is the impact you make on others and cheating will get you nowhere in life since it is wrong.

I think that us as freshmen are very much like the people in the movie because we are going to a new school and we had to make friends with new people. this movie just shows that sometimes people don't change.

This movie...I liked it very much. It helped us relate to the story by having people around our age, PLUS it has some lessons worthy of putting into life. I thought that the most pathetic thing was when Sedgwik kept cheating. I was very disappointed in him since he hasn't changed in many years...The things I like most about the movie are probably the lessons told in the movie.
"...But STUPID lasts forever." That really hit me...I'd probably watch this movie over and over again.

I really enjoyed the film The Emperors Club for many reasons. Firstoff, I thought that it gave a serious sense while having a funny comedic sense which influenced my view on the film. Also, I became drawn into the film after Sedgewick Bell enrolled as a student at the academy. Mr. Hunterd's naive choice of trusting Sedgewick made me wonder why he had fallen for
Sedgewick's ignorant trap. There relationship was one of the main reasons that interested me throughout the film.

many things in this movie caught my interest. the main thing that i saw when Mr. Hunter hit the base ball into the car and broke the window, then he chose not to stay and take the punishment instead he ran away. doing this is making him look more like a child such as Sedgwick.

This was a good movie to watch with my classmates and teacher i enjoyed it very much. It was a different type of movie to watch then what is out now. Sedrick bell is one trouble maker in class tho and he is quiet funny.

The Emperor's club was a great film that was a very valuable life lesson. Mr Hunterd was a wonderful mentor and he demonstrated leadership skills. Additionally, the film demonstrates how humans are not always correct. For example, even though Mr. Hunterd tried to teach Sedgwick the right was he wasn't the most succesful. Therefore, the film is an excellent film that has teught me more about life and my education. Finally, I would recomend The Emperor's Club to other students and faculty.
