"If Only I Could Take It Back..."

As you will have seen/heard in the movie, "Field of Dreams," Ray Kinsella wished he could have taken back what he said to his father, before Ray ran off and never made it back to make peace with his father, before his father died. That really bothered Ray, and, became the reason , really, for building the baseball field - to get a second chance at "making it all right again..."
Have you ever said something and wished you hadn't? Did you ever say something you've regretted? Wished you could get a second chance to make it right? Just like Ray does in the movie? Did you ever get the chance? Would you even want a second chance? What would you say to that person?

Yes, I have said something I wished I hadn't and which I regretted. In 7th grade, I was in a fight (not physical, verbal) with another group of friends. I may have said a lot of things that I regret today, because our friendship was never the same. I had a second chance with the those friends, and we're good friends now.

Even though we have all said things that we wish we could take back, I don't think I would have done anything differently if I was given a second chance. (Live and Learn).

I agree with highpenguin. We all may have said somethings we regret but regretting something is just slowing us down from growing and learning from our experiences. It is all in the past now and we cant live in the past. we have to look for what is ahead of us.

I think that everything that happens to us is for the best because it's part of God's will and He would never want whats bad for us. I think everybody wishes they had a second chance at many things, but, if we did, we wouldn't learn many of the lessons we have today and wouldn't learn things from experience. Everybody has one chance and we should always make the right choices because we will never have a second chance.

I have said things that I wish I wish I could take back, but I did get a second chance. I feel that once you do something you can't take it back but you have got to think befoe you speak. We should learn to make the right choices and say the right thing.

You can't look back at your past. You have to live life now and make better choices from past mistakes. Unless some magical event happens like Ray Kinsella and the baseball field, there is no point in looking back in the past.

There are some very bad things that I have done and have said. There are things that I said that I would definitely want to say sorry for at the field of the dreams. I just think that people should think before they speak.

A second chance would be nice for some people. Others would never want to face that person or problem. One time my friend said he would meet me at the ice cream shop at 2 o'clock. When i got there i waited an hour and he never showed. I tried calling him, but it ended up that he ditched me and went to hang with his girlfriend. The rule is "bros before ****(girls)." I guess he forgot. I have never seen him since.

Yes, I did wish that I got second chances on things. Although, now I don't care because they all happened like 6 years ago.

All of us have said something that we have regretted now. If we never had said something that we regret we would never learn wat not to do and wat to do. wen u say something that you regret later in life u see how u shouldn't say that again and how that effected you life.
