"Baseball History - Wahconah Park"

Tucked away in a corner of a former industrial city, in western Massachusetts, Pittsfield, to be exact, is one of the last remaining wooden ballparks in the country - Wahconah Park. If you are a student of baseball lore and hard-fought single-A minor league ball games, where the game is played purely, where baseball is an end in itself, not the means to earn gazillion$ and play for a corporate giant, then take a trip back into time and visit Wahconah Park, in Pittsfield, MA! You'll hear, first-hand, from Mike Radomski, Bergen Catholic Alum, '06, as Mike spins his announcing magic as he calls the games, live from Wahconah Park this summer! Mike will keep us posted!

As much as I dislike baseball, I do enjoy a minor league game every once in a while. The only thing I like about minor league baseball is that, like you said earlier, the players dont play more money, but instead for love of the game. For example proffesional lacrosse players earn only about $600 a game! No one else has more love for a game than pro lacrosse players.
